We are versed in a variety of styles giving us the ability to create designs that are the best realization of our client’s preferences. All of our projects display clarity of aesthetics and function. Our firm also has a deep commitment to charity as seen in several projects to which we donate our time and resource.
Experience
We deliver all project types, including industrial, light commercial and residential and have successfully negotiated projects with a multitude of overlapping jurisdictions and conditions including EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), NPS (National Park Service), DOT (Department of Transportation) and a variety of state and local authorities. We have experience with Miami Dade County Codes and specifications and existing buildings on the National Historic Register. Historical Restoration is a specialty.
As part of our charitable initiatives we have also gained experience with projects in 3rd world conditions. We are particularly committed to rebuilding efforts in Liberia.
Principal
Sean Hilgeman, RA, received his Master of Architecture degree from The University of Washington in Seattle in 2004 and has since worked on residential and commercial projects in several states including NY, NJ, CT, RI, MA, TN, FL, & WA. He has brought his skills to Liberia, Africa on a charitable basis and remains the lead architect on several projects there. Having acquired his license through the IDP process set forth by NCARB, he is available to obtain his license in 49 states as the project requires.
Sean’s designs are sensitive to the preferences and needs of the client and their experience in the resulting built environment. A member of American Mensa, Sean excels at solving the complex spatial, structural, stylistic, and sociological problems that architecture presents. His stylistic palette is varied, with the common thread being a loyalty to the discovery of high quality designs that present timelessness and will appear as sophisticated in 20 years as they do the day they are completed.
